“Not my will, but yours” said Jesus. Becoming obedient in ultimate suffering, death on a cross bearing the weight of God’s wrath. We must in the same way take up our crosses and submit ourselves to Him. Though it may be painful in the moment, our obedience to our Father will result in eternal gain and a joy in this life when our hearts are set on Him.
