133: Why Christians Share the Gospel with Pastor Bailey Norman

Reasons to Go! // S10E12

Why do we go? Why do we share our faith? Each and every person on this earth is going one of two places for eternity. Those saved by Christ to eternal glory, but those not, to eternal judgement. We who have been saved by Christ know our destination, and we do not want any person to go anywhere else! And so we go, because God has called us to, because we have tasted and seen His goodness, what He has done for us, and knowing that He will do the same for others… but someone has to tell them first!

Guest Info:

Pastor Bailey Norman, is actually the first pastor I (Michelle) heard preach at our church. As of now, he is a pastor of a Greater Grace Church in Massachusetts, and helped start several other churches on the east coast.

Verses from Why Christians Share the Gospel:

Acts 3:1-10, Acts 16:1-15, John 4:1-26, Luke 19:1-9, Psalm 81:10, John 21:18

Quotes from todays episode:

“The miraculous work is God’s to do, he has the plan, he has the people, he opens the hearts, but what he needs for me to do, is obey… He’s asking me to take a step of faith and watch him work.”

Bailey Norman, The Pantry Podcast, Why Christians Share the Gospel

“When we are focused on ourselves, and the struggles we face, we are isolated, even if we are surrounded by people, because we are not bringing those troubles, and people are not being activated to help in those troubles, and worst of all, we are not serving others.”

Michelle Watson, The Pantry Podcast, Why Christians Share the Gospel
