106: Lukewarm with Pastor Zeke Wharton

Revelation 3 // S08E12

The idea of lukewarm Christianity is one that is used often in the Church, but what does it really mean? How do we know if we are lukewarm Christians? And what should we do if we are? Today Pastor Zeke Wharton of Greater Grace Community Church joins us to discuss these questions and how we are to respond to the words of Christ in Revelation 3.

Verses from Lukewarm:

Revelation 3:14-22, Matthew 19:24, 2 Peter 2:21, 1 Peter 2:1-3

“It is so easy for that sense of complacency to kick in and make us forget about the things that are really important”

Pastor Zeke Wharton, The Pantry Podcast, Lukewarm

“It’s good to just realign with the word to just get up and thank God… And he has this way of realigning us to his path, the one that’s lighted by Him.”

Shea Watson, The Pantry Podcast, Lukewarm

“That reminds me of us, of the things we try and bring in. We’re like “no, yeah, this is fine,” when it clearly isn’t, but is beneficial to us in a temporary way and so we bring it in anyway. And at some point God is going to give you a situation that shows you that you need the real thing!”
