161: A Very Dangerous Thing to Say to God (and What to Say, Instead)

Yeah but… // E161

How many times have we said it: “Yeah… but.” Even worse is when we do that to God! We see this throughout scripture as fallen humanity questions what God has asked them to do. Yet this really shows a lack of faith from us to God. Today we dig into how this looks in our lives now and with others, as well as how we can and should change our thoughts from “yeah but,” “but God.”

Quotes from today’s episode:

“‘Yeah but,’ is different than ‘okay I’ll go,’ ‘okay I’ll go,’ is like you’re still moving on that one. We are gonna come up short sometimes. We aren’t always gonna find the perfect plan. But what we’re really trying to instill today is that we need to get rid of the ‘yeah but I’m not qualified, but I don’t want to, and more.’ But just move forward and it’s important that God becomes our pathway in this!”
