Where should you host your podcast?
Ultimately, the decision is up to you. However, there are several factors to pay attention to:
- Cost & Upload limitations: Some hosting companies offer free and paid plans and, based on the tiers, limit how many minutes you can upload each month. There are options for every goal and budget.
- Bandwidth: Pay attention to how many listens your host will allow per month. Some have limitations and some are unlimited.
- Website: Most hosts offer a basic (and attractive!) website for you if site building isn’t your thing. Look into the site options. We use Bluehost.
- Domain: Most hosts also offer to transfer your feed to your own domain if you want to get even fancier.
